Virtual Mentorship for Freelance Designers

We shouldn’t have to burnout to make positive change.

If you’re determined to make an impact with your business without working yourself to death, I’m here to help create a website that drives results.

Do you ever feel like you’re making
all the wrong decisions?

When I started freelancing in 2017, I’d stay up all night before a meeting stressing about minor details. I’d even ask my boyfriend’s opinion on things, but “looks good” wasn’t the type of feedback I needed. I wanted professional feedback but I didn’t have the budget to hire a coach, so I struggled for years alone.

You don’t need to
struggle alone anymore...

I created this virtual mentorship support so you can confidently move forward in your design career. It’s everything I wish I had when I started freelancing. During our time, I’ll support you through creeping self-doubt and feeling like you can’t compete with pixel-perfect portfolios. Together, we’ll build your confidence in your skills, portfolio and client relationships.

And for me it all started with a nudist in a cafe…

My Story - The TLDR

How I got here

It all started with a nudist in a cafe...

Fresh out of design school, I met a nudist in a cafe who gave me a job at his app development agency (no nudity required 😂). Working for a tiny business with corporate clients meant I had to learn a lot and fast - design, marketing, client management, etc. It was the perfect job. Until it wasn’t...

I found myself asking, “Is this it?”

After a few years of working at the agency, I began to feel drained. Despite it being a great opportunity, I felt like something was missing. I found myself waiting all week for Friday, party all weekend and dread Monday mornings. I knew it wasn’t the life I wanted, and things had to change. So, in 2017, I started freelancing on the side. All while technically becoming the head of design and marketing at the agency. To say I was exhausted was an understatement, and my desire for freedom felt like an impossible dream.

Something clicked and I found my purpose.

In 2020, stuck in my tiny apartment in Berlin, I found myself spending a lot of time on social media. So many women were starting their businesses. And not just “on the side” like my freelancing had been. They were taking a risk and stepping out of their comfort zone. Not only that, but they were doing so intentionally. Inclusivity, authenticity and impact — these words gave me goosebumps.

Let’s change your future

“"I’m excited about future projects!"”

I have had the pleasure of collaborating with and knowing Kat for quite some time and love working with her. She always has a unique and thoughtful perspective during our work, always brings attention to essential details and has a very structured and methodical approach. Our collaborations work well because we speak the same languages of UX and focus on strategy rather than only aesthetic design. I am very excited about future projects with Kat!

After 10+ years as a designer, I know that:

There are 3 ingredients to
building a sustainable brand

1

Gaining Clarity

Having a powerful tool that works as hard as you do right now, means that you won’t have to anymore.

2

Staying Systemised

Curating a seamless user experience positions you as the authority who knows the path forward.

3

Feeling confident

Impact-makers throughout history have one thing in common: they had trusted advisors.

My life is not
all about business...

Born in Dubai & I’ve lived in 10+ countries

My favourite trip was a snowy Sweden hike

Dream life = a garden, my cats, and an ice coffee with my laptop
